About Us
The Plan B Foundation gives second chances, one life at a time.
Each participant that is accepted into The Plan B Foundation’s programs is given help finding and keeping full-time employment to promote self-sufficiency, dignity and reduce recidivism.
We require drug testing, and a background check to understand the participant’s past. We conduct an initial intake of motivated individuals to ensure success in the workforce. Transportation is a common issue we help with, but each participant has a unique set of obstacles they face, and we work through them together.
We mentor participants and are implementing programs to help them learn the key life skills that many of us feel are innate.
These skills are taught to most of us at an early age, but most participants never had the opportunity to learn them. One of many common life skills that must be taught to program participants is to plan. Our participants need to plan to be able to get to work, and that may involve securing childcare on workdays.
Our program gives them work and teaches them the necessary life skills to be successful while reducing recidivism. Our Plan B is good for participants and society.
